Got a call from this number saying i was approved for a loan of $15,000 and wants me to call them back. I researched the number and its just a Scam..claiming to be from GE Capital and the loan officer is Timothy Simmons. How could i get approved for a loan of this amount when they don't have any information about me. Stupid ppl..has called me now 6 times today so far but have not picked up to answer...put on my block call list.
They keep calling me its some guy i think his name is Santiago Varsna, could hardly understand him and they told me i have a loan approved and they want me to get a prepaid card to send money to them first for the fees. when i tell them no they get rude and call right back from a different number and one guy keeps telling me to f*@* off over and over i have had to block there numbers but they keep calling from different ones all day so far 6 today its a scam they want personal info and money
Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans. Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
