1) It's on an auto-dialer which dials five numbers at a time, the first human that answers gets the "seller's" attention and all the other calls get an apparent "hang-up".
2) It's a minimum-wage dialing bay and they don't really want to listen to another person yell at them, so if they're super isn't watching they just hang up.
3) Same minimum-wage schlub is dialing, but just killing time because he has a coffee or lunch break coming in five minutes and so doesn't really want to start his sales BS with anybody.
a foreign accented caller was on the other line, asked me by my name if i had mesh surgery or hip replacement surgery as their records showed i did (I have only had bilateral knee replacements and not mesh or hip surgery) i stated to them that my medical records were private and they had no right to them that this was a hippa violation and not to call again (to which he said they would not) year right! They are some kind of medical clearinghouse but they can not get their information right apparently. I also stated to them that i would turn them in if they called again.
Called....I didn't answer because I have been called numerous times lately my a number of places after looking into a refinance on my home online (lending tree, etc.) Places are calling me about getting a college degree, a short term loan, insurance, etc. They didn't leave a message.
