This is a company call My Advocate. They claim they are contracted by United Heath Care (possibly others as well) and they supposedly claim they call to be sure you have received a renewal from the state for help in paying your Medicare Part B. Is this not true? I don't want to loose the help I receive but I don't want to get involved with a company that is scamming anyone.
Did not answer call. Obama's govt. can intrude into every area of our lives now, but they can't stop this almost hourly intrusion into our lives?? Can't find out who is doing all this calling?
No. It's not a fraud. Social Services Cord have changed their name to My Advocate. Stop blaming everything on Obama. These are Senior services. Instead of complaining about what senior services are available to SENIORS just tell the caller you're NOT a senior.
These services help seniors fill out paper work for Access A Ride, for Meals On Wheels, for home health care, for help keeping their homes clean, help understanding their medications..etc.
So research before you cry fraud.
They are using a magic jack number when I call back it says that this number doesn't belong to anyone.....
I spoke to magic jack and they gave me this to report...
It's a sales call. They buy names and numbers from Blue Cross and others. They are selling a service to help coordinate senior services. Home health care, etc. The service is about "managing" things that are already available to you. Then they would Bill your insurer, Medicare, Blue Cross, etc. Most people can get this same info through their local Council on Aging or their doctors office.
Answer & ask to be taken off their list. They try to make it sound like they work for your insurance company but they don't. Don't give them any info.
