They wanted to renew my magazine subscription to Readers Digest. I don't subscribe to it now . I've told several callers running the same scam , not to call.
786-305-2121 CID shows Florida. Since today is the 5th time they've called, I decided to answer. Man asked if I was Joe Blow, asked him what he wanted. Claims he was calling to verify we were satisfied with a subscription to Consumers Reports. (He never did say what company he was with.) Went on to say he could save us $ by renewing by phone today & in addition, they'd give us a senior discount if we qualified PLUS they could put us on a Do Not Call list. Told him they could put us on a list & we could take care of renewals. He tried to say they could only put us on the list, IF we renewed. Told him, Fine, I'll just add you to our phone block! These scams have been around before & are NOT affiliated with those you get subscriptions from. So keep your hand on your credit cards people!
