I had a call from Kevin Temple the other day, did not answer and got voicemail message. And this lady calls me today from this number. She left two messages three hours apart. The messages sounded identical so I think it's a recording. Will block this number too. Such a scam. So ridiculous we get harassed by people like this.
Started getting calls from this number yesterday. Called back and was told I owed 700.00 for application fee for a payday loan. I told her that there must be some mistake, that I never applied for a payday loan nor received one. Argued with me and told me that I did. She had my home address and navy.mil email address. Told me they ran a "background" check on me and since I "had no background" they were willing to settle for $500. I told her again that I never applied for a payday loan and I wanted a justification letter according to the law. She said she wasn't obligated to give me anything. I told her that I wanted something in writing. She said that it wasn't her job to give me anything and I could fight it in court. She hung up. I called back and asked what the name of the company was and was told Legal Mitigation in Miami, FL. This is definitely a scam. I'm changing my number. Threatened me with legal action if I didn't settle this erroneous "debt" immediately with my credit or debit card over the phone. She said - "Do what you think is in your best interest" and hung up again.
Register your phone number with the do not call registry and everytime you get a call file a complaint.
The can't go after them if only they get a few complaints a month, do it every day so these morons are caught.
