Phone scam by very convincing group claiming to be an authorized Windows computer security / tech support. Had some details about my computer and license number.
Came up as "I" on caller ID- no answer when I picked up . Called them back and it says " this is no longer a working number- if you wish to talk to Sydney or Jamie please call their cell phones". Hmmm. Not sure how a non- working number is calling people. Definitely Idiots.
They called and asked for me but i wasn't available. Called back immediately and no answer except for voicemail and a request to enter my 10-digit phone number.
Called 12/5/15 @ 3:34 PM. Sure did not recognize a caller id from "I" Let it go to v.m. Asked for my spouse, by name - after saying, "hello" "hello" "is anyone there?" [The announcement trape asks that a message be left after the beep - duh!]. Not sure what they are selling but I want no part of it, whatever it is!
