Man named , Joe Doyle, called this morning requesting to speak with our physician stated he would know his name just run it by him. No details provided. We advised the Doctor was not available he was insistent that we interrupt him while he was in surgery. Our physician is not familiar with this person. When advised him we would have him follow up at a later time. Call was disconnected. We tried calling the number back and the voicemail states it is with National Security, and not to leave orders on the voicemail. --- scam?
We received a phone call from this # with a person stating to be a Dr. Doyle, wanting to speak with one of our physician's. When I came back on the phone to say he was in with a patient, can I take a (click). He hung up. We had a feeling this was a scam and want to report this. Thank You

After having received several calls today where no message was left, I just received another call from this number on my private line, which I answered. Upon answering, the caller hung up. Reading these posts, I have to wonder whether this related to the fact that I am a surgeon. Whatever scam this may be (assuming it is one), they appear to have some focus on medical practitioners.
