Same happened to me. If you talk in English, they hang up immeditely. I tried speaking Spanish and, the moment I asked to don't call anymore, they hang up.
This is the worst telemarketing company ive ever dealt with. I don't speak spanish and as soon as they catch wind of this, they hang up. There is absolutely no way to make progress in eliminating my number from their list. If you try asking for the manager they hang up. They even mocked me a few times:
Me: Do you speak English?
Them: Si si. 'Goodmorning'! Hahahah! 'Goodmorning'.
*then they immediately hang up on me
This isn't fun. The language barrier is making it impossible to stop them from calling me at lease 2-3 times every 3-4 days (sometimes twice a day).
A lot of the numbers they use are pirated WORKING cellphones (561.800.xxxx) Who you need to be complaining to is your state attorney General, or the Florida AG. There are android applications out there that can show the address of the caller, I would suggest getting one of these applications to trace the address or the long/lat of the caller, and give you a starting point to voice your complaint. this is even MORE possible now that they are using a landline.
