One-ring scammers trying to get a call-back. Thank you 800notes for your very useful information!

I got 2 calls from what Google tells me is some explicit delete who lives in the Miami FL. area that says it is an emergency and it is my wife calling. I'm thinking of calling them back at 11 P.M. my time...

The number COULD be spoofed...then you'd be accusing/bothering an innocent person.

Rang 1- 2 times and stopped. "missed call" generated but no voicemail left. I'd read about 1 ringers recently so I didn't attempt a callback. Usually don't anyway if I don't know the number. If it's legit, they'll call again.

Called twice today and left no message. First time only let ring once.
