This is a
SPECIAL MESSAGE
for the factually challenged or low information people who think:
The National or State Do Not Call lists are a joke, orThe DNC list does not work, orThe DNC list has disappeared, orThe DNC list is garbage, or The DNC list is useless, or The DNC list is worthless
(etc)
Try very hard to understand this:
The Do Not Call list works as intended!
LEGITIMATE telemarketers obey the Do Not Call regulations
So, if you got a call from a supposed telemarketer, and if you are registered on the DNC list, what does that tell you?
Hint:
Can you spell "scammer"?
Hint #2 (if you need it)
Can you spell "criminal"?
And, a tough one:
Can you spell "illegitimate"
What else should you know?
The DNC List is NOT a call blocker! It is not a magic switch that intercepts calls to your phones!Criminals habitually and repeatedly disobey laws.Your education or comprehension is sadly deficient. Please try to remedy that!
The Answer!
If you want to reduce calls from spammers and scammers, or prevent second calls from the same numbers, get a real call blocker. Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

I didn't pick up at first but after calling back a lady stated it was first national collections for my father which he has no debt... Which was what I told her. She stated she couldn't speak about the matter and I hung up. Thanks god for u-verse and the number blocking feature. these bottom feeders are after old debt that is beyond the limit of statues. Know your rights!
7/21/14 11:32am, answered call, no one on the line. Phone number does not identify the caller. Called the number from a different phone and it was answered, said they were First National Collections. I told them they called my cell without leaving information. The lady said that they don't have to identify themselves and if they did not respond to me saying hello, they did not violate any law. I told her I would report her to the FTC and she said to go ahead.
