Some kind of telemarketer. The government should start making these AH' s pay $ 1, 000 for each unsolicited call. They are coming out of woodwork. I hope someone invents a devise to return to site and fry their system so it cost them each time they invade our privacy.
You're exactly right. About what "should" happen. But, a telemarketer?
What kind of telemarketer is it? Did you answer the phone, or are you just guessing?
Have you heard of "We, the people?" "The government" is you and me. If you and I actually go after them, demanding the $1,000 per call which is YOUR right, under the law, then something might change. There are only so many lawsuits I can file, but I've filed plenty. Made some pretty good money, in the process. Not a lot. Sometimes, not much fun. But, sometimes it is a lot of fun, and several different companies have paid thousands for a single phone call.
Since you think it's a good idea, maybe you should consider doing the same. Don't need a lawyer, filing fees are usually reasonable, and all it takes is a little initiative and research.
