He also wants me to send money for his daughter's birthday. He says he is in the army. He says he searched and found me on facebook. We've been talking for awhile and today he asked for money.
Could it be this guy?

He left this message on a Facebook board: "If you are looking for love text me on this number 1 (786) 465-6345." The message was inappropriate (the board was honoring a fallen soldier), and obviously not written by an American.
In short, "Bill" is a Nigerian-type scammer. The fact that he is already hitting you up for money tends to confirm this.
Says he is in the Army on 7th tour. Daughter & Mother live in Nigeria. Can't access his US accounts from Kabul. Asked for money for daughter's birthday. Wanted me to sell my car so he could fly home on leave.
Just for information: The story is full of holes. Army men/women just don't come home when they feel like it, and many miss birthdays, & births as well. They also have people that deal with these problems. Nigeria? Scam all the way.
