Do not answer this number they are asswholes!! They called me 6 times a day for three days when I finally answered and said take me off your call list they kept calling! I answered and asked to speak with a manager and I was hung up on twice!!
For sure, Kaplan Univ. shared my cell phone number with other degree oriented outfits. I did not give permission for this, but Kaplan only cares about money so they sold it to someone else. This is only one of many outfits that have called since my wife signed up for an online course with them early in 2011. It seems that Kaplan doesn't care about anyone's privacy, they seem to care mostly about money.
What I do with all of these unwanted calls is don't answer the phone unless you know who it is. If it is important they will leave a message. Then, look up the number on the internet and if it is a telemarketer enter it into your phone book and mark it as SPAM1 (or whatever ID works for you to know it is an unwanted call). Next time they call your phone will ID them as SPAMx. That will ease your mind about who it was that called. This was not my idea. I read about doing this on some other web site, but I like the idea and use it. It works.
I also have attempted to go to Kaplan and am having the same problem. Im tempted to answer and go off on them and tell them I am already tending a community/technical college and no longer need their service
