I knew exactly what the call was when he asked for my VP, they call from tons of different numbers and they all have thick Indian accents and uber Caucasian names "John Smith" "Nathan Hawkins" "Samuel Jones", "William Johnson"; ect ect. They're all calling from "Mark Barstein's" office (how many assistants does this man have?! LOL) but are only lowly assistants, they don't know the nature of the call and are just connecting the two.... Haha, NOPE! I'm just going to start messing with them if they keep calling.
Called me with a slight indian accent asking for me (he knew my first name). After I said 'speaking', he then said my first name and then a last name which wasn't me, i said 'you have the wrong number' and he hung up. I have a feeling he was testing my phone number to see if my name corresponds to that number.
Strange call from a man with an Indian accent. Asked for an individual by name, but sounded sketchy so I tried to get their company name. I asked multiple times, but the response he gave was unintelligible. He then explained that he was trying to reach a construction company. Let him know that he was not calling the right place.
