They never mention your info, and they want you to send them documents so they can steal your ID for filing a false tax form or to open a credit card using your name. They usually are foreign accented people who answer, and falsely say they are with the IRS. If you listen to them long enough, you can tell they're making it up as they go. The IRS will never do this, they send registered letters only.

What I'm curious to know is how do they know who to contact that this may be relevant to, so that they will reply to the message !! Very scary, dangerous people
