My girlfriend got a call from the same number who says he was attorney Jason stark but was Indian (India). When I asked for all the info he would not give it to me. He told her that there was a bench warrant. When I explained that I am a police officer and asked for his info. His reply was "sir do not make threats to me" which I just asked simple questions. He said he would 3 way with my sheriff's Dept. I hung up and called them. I know every deputy. I called them and they said they have received several complaints and just ignore it. Then someone calls from my sheriffs Dept number and the supposed deputy would not give his name. I called the sheriff's Dept back and they said it wasn't them that called. These people did have our bank account number. This number is from Miami Florida. I called and left a message with their bar association to verify this attorney or to see if his identify was stolen too.
AHHHH SO ANNOYING these ppl are harrassing me at work, and on my cell!! I did apply for a payday loan, but was never accepted for one! they threaten to arrest me and take me to court, and says they are form Winston law firm, and theres a case against my social, and they even gave the name of a previous bank I had, for an account which was closed... due to pay day scam ( a scammer tried to take money out of my account) IM GETTING SICK OF THIS [***]!!!! what can I do!!!???? any suggestions? I can ignore my cell, but i HAVE TO ANSWER MY WORK PHONE IM THE SECRETARY!!!
I also got sever calls and voice mails from this phone number. When I called back and asked who I was speaking to I was told Jason Stark just like bob nash posted earlier. They also read my SSN aloud to me so I know they have it. Only problem is I don't know what other info they have on me or how to stop them. I'd like to find "jason stark" and stomp his a$$ in the dirt.
I did have a pay day loan and my account was closed due to fraudelent activity. When I tried to contact the company none of their numbers worked. Now over a year later I'm recieving these calls from Jason Stark and he had my social and wanted me to set up payments. And I did, I'm cleaning up my credit to purchase a house and do not want this on my credit report. The card I had set up payments on was stolen therefore he cannot take any money out. He called my job saying that I needed to give him the new card number or they would have to send out legal documents to take me to court. Is this real, how can I really be sure?
