I received a text from this person regarding a craigslist item as well - is this legit?

Just received a text from this number for an item on CL. They stated they were buying for a friend on a mission. I advised we would not ship the item nor take check payment and they never responded. Willing to bet this is a scam.

Received a text about a CL listing buying for a friend on a mission. I sent them a paypal invoice and with 18 hours my paypal account was hacked and money was sent from me to an unknown person.   *****BE WARNED THIS IS A SCAM NUMBER! !!!****

Same thing on CL. Scam.
