I got a text from the individual calling himself "Mike". He wanted to send me a certified check for a stove I was selling, and have someone pick it up. I told him I wanted cash only, and never heard from again.

This person responded to my craigslist add called himself Mike said he was a very busy person, his 1st text asked for bottom price, next text he's OK with advertised price??? Claims his mode of payment is certified check - hasn't asked for personal information yet - I shut him down before his next text.
