this is a third party company calling on behalf of many different magazine companies in regards to subscriptions that are about to expire. for me it was about the tv guide but he said they represent many different magazines and that he could take me off the call list as it was auto dialed by a computer. these calls are legal because (in theory) you have an existing relationship with them through your magazine subscription.
You can't use your expensive telephone service the way it was intended. The FCC nor AT&T does nothing about these repeat scam calls. I have disconnected the ringer in all phones. Now our service on one-way --outgoing only just like the old pay phones used to be.
