Just called cell. I was hesitant...thought this is too many numbers. 11-786-574-8497. But I'm a truck driver and always have people calling me from accross the country so I answered. No one there. Call last five seconds and they hung up.
This call comes from the same happy robocaller who has used other numbers in the past who then says we are good customers (of some uinknown company or service -- he never says) who deserve free vacations and passes to Disney World in return for agreeing to buy some unspecified promotion. If one is totally silent through the robocall or says things the robovoice cannot diagnose (I use a foreign language for these calls so I can pretend to understand nothing at all), one gets transferred to real humans. So the robocall is screening recipients in order to transfer only the gullible and willing to the humans who will then conduct the scam. Since this unmistakeably cheery voice is very familiar to us from other numbers, we assume it is a spoofed number.
Addition: I called the number back and got transferred to Verizon wireless, which says this is a cell phone number that has been disconnected. So it is definitely a spoofed number.
WOW, now the whole family can go to the Bahamas. What are we all waiting for? I cannot believe that anyone would fall for this, but then again, might be the same Walmartians.
