Yep, same thing. Phone call message from Sam Wilson telling me to call Kevin Williams, Attorney general of Florida due to fraudulent activity with my social. If I didn't call back in 30 mins, I would be (and he started shouting) THROWN IN JAIL FOR 6 MONTHS!!!! Ridiculous. I actually laughed at the absurdity of it all. I feel sorry for people that believe this stuff. Must be pretty frightening for them.
I was contacted on my "smartphone" and the "spoofer's" have figured out how to make the call show up on "caller id" as "Emergency." The caller reads from a script and says he is with the "Florida Atty General's Office" and if I do not contact Tony Sambooson (sp?) I will be arrested on "fraud charges" within 30 minutes. I am going to provide this number to my local police department since they are aware of it and this has been a scam in my city for a few weeks.
Yup same happened to me - showed up as 911 emergency... threatened to call back within 30 minutes or be arrested and sent to jail for 6 months. wth give it up already......
