I got called from High Vista, Ca.(661-727-6711) with the same scam. The first tech(?) said he was from Dell and I had problems. He checkedsaying things like "OOh, this is bad OOH" I am going TO CONNECT YOU TO BRIETTON SUPPORT. hE CONNECTED ME TO ALEX (720-924-2226) who took over my computer and 'fixed' the problems. He said he installed (1) A Protection Tool, (2) Anti hacking trap,(3) Microsoft Removal Tool, and (3)CCleaner.-Lifetime (no need to renew), and Transferable!
After this he said I would have unlimited support for one year for 1 year if I called him at 720-924-2226. The chargefor $169.99 to my credit card was to a company called BALSTORE located in the U.K.
Receied a call that my computer was sending virus messages out, and if I did not respond they would be charging me per day if I did not allow them to fix it.
I am 91 years old. They called me and told me I had virusses at my computer. They charge me $250 dollars and want more if they have to do something. Be carefull with this guys!!!!
Received a call from someone claiming his name as Roy Jacobs at Instant-Tech Support.com claiming I had downloaded viruses and he was with Microsoft contacting me to fix them. This is nothing more than a scam to sell you some crap tech support/anti-virus.
