Text from number regarding secret shopper, was sent cashiers check for ? 2900.00 to deposit in my bank and western union to two different parties

The old fake check scam.  They pressure you to wire the money before the check is found out to be bogus by your bank.  Real secret shopper employers never require you to do anything but purchase the specified product or service from the specified company and provide you with the funds to do so.

This is a scam

A Damon Mayer continues to send emails and texts from this number encouraging me to wire money from a check that was mailed to me.

Don't put a check in your bank account Wells Fargo will seize and shut account. Hold your funds for 30 days. Know several elderly that fell for similar scam with Cricket Wireless. The bank finally released the couple's funds after 30 days. But took a court order & they nearly lost it all. This is the cell version of the Nigerian prince. Checks I saw were sent from the V.A. Hospital in Boston at taxpayer expense  ia UPS.
