Caller said they were  calling from  IRS legal department and IRS was brining fraudulent charges against me and as a courtesy they call people to let them know before the bring charges. The caller could barely speak English. I told them to contact H&R block .  They very quickly said, well your lawyer can fight this in court and hung up. I seriously doubt that  IRS  phones people up, to warn them about pending charges.
