They switched their caller ID to now just say "Miami, FL" above their phone number.
Let it roll to voice mail and no message was posted. Most of these telemarketers for police are bottom of the barrel only giving the "charity" .10 cents out of every dollar raised.
Yes they keep on calling me also and I am from NC, they are now blocked and can no longer call from that number!!! I have lots of cops that are my friends at Ft. Bragg. Is this a scam??? I have donated money and no longer will since I read on here.
Yes it is a CON CALL. They call everyday and on another number with a "Voice Recognition" Computer that "Screens the call" Either it is for the kids or some other or the fire dept something supposedly 'noble we aren't worthy of... and intimidatingly to donate to some underground democrat corruption. We are getting so many calls i take the whole Area Code and Direct Forward to the DOJ. Everyone should do this to get them to get off their A*S*S'es and do what they were hired to do.
Called at 5:21 pm March 9. No one was home at the time and there was no message left. CID sais Patrolmans Foundation. Wouldn't have answered anyway but at least I could have blocked it as it rang.
