Phone rang, this number came up on caller I.D. no name, no message. They waited till ans. machine stopped and still stayed on line, not saying anything. Then hung up.
This is the second time today that they've call and they called yesterday twice. The recording comes on saying 'this is card services and we've tried reaching you before. This is the last time we'll contact you. You have been qualified to reduce your credit card interest to 6.0 %, please press 1' this isn't an actual quote because I don't remember it word for word - but this is the basic. Well if it's the last call why do they call me twice a day???? I want them to go away.
they are offering a "lower 6%interest rate on I don't know what and they say it is the absolute last call but they keep calling with the same message. They don't say their name so I have no idea who it is.
I answered one of these calls one day and they say I'm pre-approved but they don't even know who I am, how's that for a pre-approval? So, of course they ask for my name, date of birth and social security number. Does this sound like phishing to anyone? Duh? I naturally let them know there isn't anyone, that I don't know on this planet, who I would give this info out to.....did they have another planet in mind? they hung up immediately. I laughed. Be careful with these calls.
