I believe it called my google number which it was forwarded to my cell #. By the time I select 1 to answer the caller hung up. Then I called back and it immediately asked if I want to be put on their Do Not Call List. I have been getting a lot of these recently since I have a few google numbers.
Robocall. Offering a loan. Remember folks, when a call offers to remove your name from their call list, it's all BS, they're not supposed to be calling you robo in the first place. Once you press the button to remove your number, they now know your number is active. These are ALL scam calls. They may not really be trying to sell you anything, what they want is information. The collection and sale of people's personal info has become BIG business. The FCC is overwhelmed and technology has allowed communications criminality to flourish, why do you think there are so many telephone and Internet frauds. Lean on your representatives in your state legislature and in Congress to provide funding to combat all of this, and to make penalties severe for those caught at this fraud. For the most part, they aren't afraid.
