I received multiple calls from this number showing that it was a Florida call. I refused the call and listened to the voice messages. I came to find a recording claiming to be an IRS entity and that there are severe allegations against me that are being reviewed by the Federal Government and that the issue needed to be resolved within 24 hours of the same business or else serious action would be taken. First thought, the IRS doesn't make calls; They send official letters. Second thought, I need to entertain this and call them back. A gentleman with very broken English answers and states he is with the IRS AND Federal Government Agency. Ummm what?! He asks for my name. I give him a false name and he successfully pulls up my account and reads off "You have been selected for an IRS tax audit from the years 2010 to 2015 and many inconsistencies were discovered that add up to $3,$$$. You're situation has been turned over the the Federal Government and you are facing 4 counts of tax fraud." I stop him, argue this with good points, then the calls disconnects.
