Blocking them is a waste of time too. On Saturday, I picked up thinking it was another in a long list of political calls and they were calling for AMVETS which is a scam charity that was busted a few years ago.
This is a robo call that sounds very much like a human. If you answer it will begin a speech about calling on behalf of the florida troopers and fireman's association. This is a telemarketing scam. You can read about this and other charity scams here:
