Got a call from this number stating it was the irs. I called back and wanted them to verify whoi they were and they would not. Have had several calls from here
Area code says Florida. I don't know anyone there. They called my cell at 6:21 a.m., and again an hour later (unlawfully). I answered the second one but no voice was there. Too bad, I was going to talk as long as they would waste their time, to keep them from calling someone else. Blocking it now.
I received a call this morning from this number at 6:01 A.M.and left a message that I was being audited by IRS. I didn't even say hello, but the message was played anyway. I just received another from the same number at 8:06 A.M. with the same message. This time I let it go to my message system. It was exactly the same message. I have been audited by the IRS in the past and they NEVER call. They always send a letter. This needs to stop. I presume they are calling older Americans to scare them. This is what out government must do to protect its citizens, especially with all of the cyber attacks occurring on an almost daily basis.
