Received a garbled message from someone who sounded drunk and mumbled a lot...said his name was Peter Manuel (spelling???) and he threatened me and then told me if I did not return the call...well "good luck"! How can we rid the world of these idiots?
Just got this call from somebody (robot voice) saying that I must return the call or my get my attorney to call back because it is imperative that I contact them. If I don't then he can't be responsible as to what will happen. It was a recording of somebody speaking very slowly and with some sort of accent. What a fool! Do they really think this scare tactic will work? I didn't call back because I don't my phone number on anybody's list. They called my cell phone (business line).
This guy has called me twice today, Peter Manuel, speaking in a very strange accent. Saying he wishes me "good luck.... as the sit-u-ation.... unfolds on me" if I "dis...regard" his call, or have my attorney return the call. I had a good laugh. These kind of calls are always pretty funny.
These people get hold of your address and your social security number.
I called them back to mess with them and the guy had my ss number and my prior address. I told him this was not my ss number or my address and he hung up. They call threatening to have you put in jail if you do not give them your lawyers info.
