Did not know number so did not answer but did leave a voice mail saying my loan hade been approved for $20,000. It was a woman with a thick accent and there was a lot of background noise. I never applied for any loan......this is a scam call don't waste your time in answering.
This number called on 8/27/14; 4:15pm and left a voice mail. Same scam message as to C Miller above "Congratulations, this is US Bank. Your loan for $20,000 has been approved. Unfortunately we got your voice mail. Call us back at 707-666-7102. Have a blessed day." (!) Caller was female with an accent and traffic noise in the background.
Got a phone that will block numbers itself for free (had to pay for Panasonic phone system)... They keep trying anyway... Nobody in their right mind would fall for this junk... people who reject reality, greedy people, and very old people might... we guess... need to fix laws like they used to be... FCC can help you with one nut... not them all!!!... too bad "do not call" list has no teeth....
I CONTINUE to get calls from this number, ever though I have:
1. answered and told them I was on the do not call list.
2. answered and told them to remove me from their call list
3. called THEM and told them BOTH "I am on the do not call list," AND "Please remove my number from your call list.
NOTHING has worked.
The only thing that HAS helped ME is that I added the number(s) to the "auto-reject" list on my android phone. So my phone automatically rejects the call, BUT I continue to get the annoying voicemails.
