I received a call from a lady but I didn't get the name well. +27873102327 that she was conducting a research on behalf of Barclays bank. I continued answering up to the end. Isn't know whether it's a scam
I received a call from his line on my mobile phone. The caller is a lady with an Indian ascent claiming that she was calling from South Africa. She was unable to complete a sentence after asking for my name that she wanted a discussion on some subject. she then got cut off and later I tried to call her, send a text with my other phone line and email address for better communication but never got back to me.
Obviously another scam. I hang up on them, and they call again. I hang up yet again, they call again.
That tends to indicates the caller's time, cost their masters nothing.
Best thing to do, is give them another phone number, and tell them there is lots of money there.
Examples of good numbers are the USA white house, USA congress phone numbers for Senator Harry Reid, Bank of America and other such USA based scum, that all have plenty of phone answering slaves, with plenty of time.
I also got the call from this number today (+27873102327). As above, the lady claimed to be calling from South Africa and that her name is Rachel Mbaya. She said she is in a firm (I did not get its name clearly) that has been contracted to do some research for Barclays Bank. I was suspicious but decided to play along as long as there were no specific account queries. The call took 21 minutes. After the call ended, I tried googling her name and there were many Rachel Mbaya's, none of which appears to be in South Africa. Googling the telephone number I am not surprised to see it is being shown as being from Puerto Rico. I hope it was not a scam!
