787-672-4895 SAME AS OTHER COMPLAINTS ... Received a call Saturday morning. Caller says 2 people were in an accident and that my phone number was in one of their pockets. Identified himself as Carlos Quinones from the association of paramedics and something else (couldn't understand). Smooth talker but very commanding tone. I didn't let him continue even though he asked for my name. I kept asking him who he was and after I realized this was a scam that's been going around for years I told him to have a nice day and hung up. There was a lot of chatter and people in the background. Could be some kind of boiler room operation. Other cases say that calls originate from prison by inmates using prepaid cell phones or even three way calls facilitated by someone on the outside. I can see how some can be rattled by these kind of calls.
