Caller called me on December 28, 2016 around 3:20. Said that there was a 4 car accident and named four different models and colors. Proceeded to tell me that the person is seriously hurt and he could not understand what he was saying but was told to call my number for help. He asked if any were my relatives and when I asked where this happened he said Rogers St in Lowell, Ma. After I started to freak out I went and grabbed my manager who handled the phone call and when he got off the phone he told me it was some sort of scam. What an evil person.
Man called saying that a woman who was in a horrible accident dialed my number because her jaw was broken and she couldnt speak. He did not get any info other than my last name. Will not answer now. Wondering what the purpose of this scam is.
I got one today, left a text. Knew my name and and Husbands names, said call A.S.A.P. because there was a family emergency. This is NOT cool, how do they have this info, and what do they want ?
same EXACT thing, his name allegedly is Micheal, knew my name when he called along with sending that creepy 'family emergency' text too..What kind of strange scam is this now? Called back number and just rings and goes into busy signal.
just got a similiar phone call. he called and said that my brother or husband was in a horrible car accident in lowell, ma. Said he knew my number by heart and dialed it himself. Sounded like he wanted me to go down there!
