Leaves a message stating they have received a complaint against my name & ss#. They want a statement on my intent if I push #1 regarding some 6-digit number they leave.. They do not say where they are from, but do say your name. If this were real a live person would be calling you not a robo call. Beware!
I got the same message as the two people above, with no identification as to who is calling, and in my case the recorded message didn't state my name or anyone else's name, just gave '793831' as the 'matter'. Somewhere I saw that the calling number originates from Puerto Rico. Perhaps the scam is that they want you to call their number and if you enter the 'matter' number they give, it will somehow end up giving them access to charge long distance calls to your home number? Otherwise I don't know the point of the calls?
