Do not give any information to this people. They just want your money!!!!!! Report them. They are calling my sister at her friend's house. Can you believe it? They are not even calling her! How? I suppose the person must work for a telephone company and got all the numbers from your friends and family.
Apenas llame a la supuesta compania. La misma informacion. Supuestamente correo perdido. Lo que me sorprendio que sin darle el nombre de mi hermana, me dijo su numbre y mi direccion que era donde ella estuvo viviendo temporeramente. Asi que tienen mucha informacion de cada persona que ellos llaman. Ahora me preocupa cuanto saben. Alguna sugestion?
They kept calling and asking for "Roberto" and I called them back and asked them to remove the number, and they stopped for a while. Now they're calling again, this time for "Emily." I tried calling them back again, but ironically when I call them back at the number they're asking me to call, I kept getting a message the number is not in service.
The NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs has helped me a lot in getting collection agencies to stop calling (we owe nothing but are listed under a common surname). They said they can't help though with a number from Puerto Rico, so not sure what to do next--maybe send a letter to the Puerto Rico Attorney General. They're calling four times a day. Not sure if they're a collection agency or pure scammers.
