Heavy accent called again today . Wanted to get into my computer to check for a virus. Told him was on to his scam. I have three honest sons to be proud of and to bad his mother can't say the same about him. Don't call again.
Caller ID says UTAH. These guys called yesterday 4 times and hung up - no message or recording. Today I get an actual person with the most deranged accent. I was able to make out that they are calling from the technical service department about my Microsoft Windows computers. When I asked what is the name of his company and not the name of the department he was in the guy just hung up.
Caller claimed to be from Windows and wanted to help me fix my computer because it had supposedly sent an error report to Windows. The guy could barely speak English. I played along for a few minutes then told him my computer is an Apple. He hung up.
i just got the same call just now at my work the guys called about a week ago saying there from windows that there trojan virus on my computer i followed along to see what he wanted he told me to press the windoes button and press r at the same time i asked what what will do he responded "it will fu.. your mother" and he hung up
I just got the same call. Could barely understand the guy, he did say that he was from Windows and that my computer had a virus, and that he would help me to fix it. I asked how he would even associate this phone number with any computer. He just kept saying that there was a virus on my computer. I kept asking how this phone number was associated with a computer. He finally just hung up.
