Someone at a so-called "Microsoft Service Center" called to say that my computer was being hacked. To prove it, they had me use a viewer to look at an event log. The warnings and errors that show up seem to be normal. Also, since I seriously doubt that my computer is uploading my event logs to another site, there's no way for anyone else to know about *MY* computer unless they are discussing events that everybody has or events that are not really a problem. (Just because something is called an "error", doesn't mean that it isn't expected or that it is abnormal, especially when talking about network events.)
Just received a call from this #. Pressed "talk" and "talk" again to disconnect. Hopefully they will think it was a block. CID just listed as "unknown name".
