I just got that same threatening sounding mediation call too. Someone above mentioned something about a payday loan? I wonder if this has something to do with One Click Cash. We've been getting plenty of phone calls from those people, but from what I understand they shouldn't be collecting on that debt.

This number was given to me from a lady that called me today from 5052161773 claiming to be a mediator(which they would not give me their company name) for Direct Cash Loans from valley Springs Arkansas about a loan I supposedly took out about 300 miles from where I lived while at the same time I had no job. There is no Direct Cash Loans company in or anywhere near valley Springs Arkansas, you cannot get a loan while not employed, after generally 30-90 days any debt owed will show up on your credit report from at least one of the three credit bureaus which this has not and the 8012088809 number upon searching has been reported under multiple company names claiming people owed some past due amount yet cannot seem to send the information of said debt to current residence. If you see these numbers calling you or anyone else please obtain any and all information, contact your local sheriffs dept., Better Business Bureau and any other legal advisor and/or government agency that may be able to help stop these scammers.

The term "mediator" or "Mediation firm" is simply scammer double-talk for debt collector.  Ignore and block these calls.

So someone named Brent called and left a message saying there was a mediation suit against me and he needed to speak to me or my attorney by end of business today or I waived all right to council. I called and a woman answered, never gave her name, and said that there was a case against me from an address in Pennsylvania I haven't lived at in over 8 years (yet this mediation service is in Utah...). I said this, and she said the case was from years ago but refused to tell me the nature of the case or any other information. She tried verifying the last 4 of my social and my e-mail address and both were wrong, said that she will push it to the state and that they will contact me if they wish to pursue, so I know it's a total scam and they are just trying to bully people out of money somehow.
