Now, calling it back, a verizon message says "you have reached a non working number, announcement 41 switch dash 9" something along those lines. This is a scam caller. The number doesn't exist, so they are spoofing a number so you can't call them back. They are spoofing a fake number because they don't want to be called back, or transferred. Do not answer calls from that number
i just got called from this number, too, and they didn't respond when I picked up. what is the difference to them whether you answer or not? I don't see how they benefit from your answering. do they somehow get info about your phone account?
My sister and I were standing right next to each other when we both got calls from this number simultaneously. Obviously a scam caller. Neither of us answered.
