This is another in surreale robocal that like the rest, drive me up the wall. Few people have my cell number and whoever legitimately needs to reach me, can do so 24/7. But what good does it do if computers are able to d I al millions on numbers in fractions of seconds. The "Do not call list, is useless". I get calls from numbers I reported on a regular basis. My cellphone has stored more blocked numbers than legitimate one probably close to a 20 to 1 ratio . I've already disconnected my land line number that I had for over 40 years. I remember it as being a "Franklin" number rather than a three. Why? Not because it was expensive, but because it rang more times in the last three years I had it. Than the previous 37 combined. And I once determined that out of 100 calls, one was legitimate. If something g is not done soon, the phones can be really smart but no one will ever want to use one. Right now, I have mine set to where unless the nbe is iny list finder. It's automatically blocked. That in itself is a problem because if for example, someone where to call me from my bank, the odds of the call being placed from the "main" nber, are nil. Then, there are the morons that think Thai the caller ID shows them up as either "unknown" or "unlisted", that they will not be hounded. Good luck. Especially because I happen to have a relative who thinks is a genius by doing that, and doesn't realize than the odds of getting through to most anyone, are close to zero.
