Among other methods, they will run a debtor's address and home telephone number through a reverse directory search, and contact anyone they find who may live near the debtor, as well as use other databases to locate a debtor's relatives and contact them as well. Some of their techniques are legally questionable, but they manage to get away with it.
Called trying to find my neighbor, told him I didnt know who that was and he said they were just around the corner, gave the address, I told him again I didnt know him, started asking more questions about the neighbor, told him yet again I didnt know this person. Hung up.
This guy, Tim, called and wanted ME to find my neighbor. I told him I would leave the information with the neighbor. He then called back and spoke with my son - OUT OF BOUNDS and big foul. So I called him back and told him to remove my name and number and NEVER call my house again! This is not legal, in my opinion!
