actually called my neighbor and don't know why.

Did you ever find out why this individual called?  In his call to me, he claimed his name was Josh Cook.

Called, asked If i knew the person living next door to me.  I don't speak to my neighbors so they are barking up the wrong tree.

But calling anyone asking if you know your neighbor is just wrong.  Call them, If they don't want to talk to you, don't call everyone else.

I called number back, this is "North American Recovery", trying to get telephone numbers from people's neighbors that they look up by addresses nearby that person. I suspect they are a collection company.

They called a neighbor across the street that I rarely talk to and asked him to give a message to my wife to call them back . Said his name was Brandon Davis. This seems like a form of harassment, maybe not against me, but against my neighbors.
