Update on last post. I called dish network, the only way to get your name removed from their call list is to call dish network directly. If you tell whoever is call from this number to stop calling you they will continue to call.
Got a call from this number on 7/28 at 3:53 pm, and again on 7/29 at 2:55 pm. They claimed to be from Directv and that they had complaints from my area about high prices. Wanted to see if they could lower my rates. They couldn't, but inferred they were also with DISH and that they were under the same "parent" company (not their words...just an inference). Unfortunately I fell for it, got a lower price, and we got DISH installed on 7/31. Today (8/3) at 12:27 I got a call from the same number stating they were with Directv and the same line used on me last week. We have already switched out to DISH and this made me suspicious. Upon checking I see I have fallen for a misrepresentation scam by DISH and I am thoroughly ticked off! I want my Directv back and DISH penalized!
Caller asked for my spouse who was not at home at the time, when asked "Who might I say is calling?" He mumbled something about dish and then disconnected.
Just got the call 801-318-1980.. Wanted to speak to my husband and knew his name..When i called back, "this number is not accepting calls"...Well "[***]", we don't want your freakin' calls either...So stop-stop-s-t-o-p!
Have been getting calls from this number for the last 2 months. We dropped Direct TV 2 months ago.
Obviously, DTV sold our information. Cutting the cord was the best thing we ever did, but this telemarketing that is happening ever since we did is irritating.
