A lady called in asking for a Sr. Director in our HR department. I asked her what she was calling in regards to, and she wouldn't tell me but said she had his extension number if I needed it. I told her that I need to know what she is calling in regards to before transferring the call. She said it was employee insights. I then asked if he was expecting her call, and she paused and said "I think so". She should have a direct line to call him at if he actually was expecting her call, and she wouldn't have needed to call the front desk at our corporate office. She clearly didn't need to talk to him and was either trying to get him to do a survey or sell services to us. Very shady and not worth our time. I told her I wasn't going to transfer the call and hung up.
The caller is from Qualtrics. It isn't a spam number or a con (unless the number gets hijacked) but it is probably a sales call. Unfortunately, this same number comes up regardless of who from Qualtrics calls you. There are legitimate reasons why they would be calling, particularly if anyone in your organization uses Qualtrics (and they probably do).
