I also received a call from these idiots they hop from number to number because they have nothing better to do with there hopeless lives. They use free computer apps to use US numbers so it is hard for the Feds to catch there behinds. All they have us time to do stupid crap like this and the US government needs to recognize these issues and deal with these international scammers. Since we have broader technology ignorant individuals use it to scam for money regardless if the nature of the scam. Sweepstakes , inheritance money from another country, gift cards, pay day loans , wills, insurance, these idiots get our information from companies here in the US because they sell it to the highest bidder. Money talks bs walks. It is an invalid number to block. Hope this info helps!
Something has got to be done about these calls we all seem to get. DONOTCALL.GOV does not work at all!!! Even when you answer these people and tell them not to call anymore and take your telephone number off their calling list, it doesn't work! Total FRUSTRATION!!
I have been receiving REPEATED calls, totaling over 50 times, from different numbers on 4/2/14 and 4/3/14. When answered, there is no one there, then after a couple of rings, a person comes on the phone asking for "John Smith", "Karen Simmons" or "Gary", none of which are me. When told that they have the wrong number they hang up and call back under a different number (and area code). I have repeatedly told them to stop calling, but the calls continue.
On one occasion, I inquired about who they were, and the speaker spoke with a heavy accent, and was difficult to understand. The words I gathered were "loan", and "$1500.00", so I have to assume that these calls are coming from some sort of loan company to sell loans, or a fraudulent organization that is lying about a consumer having debt to gain money or personal information.

I have receive these calls also and I am getting sick and tired of them. What don't they understand DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN. TAKE MY NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST.
