Got a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer it (since it wasn't a number saved in my phone) and they didn't leave a message. I expected to find a page like this about the number when I Googled it.
They say the are calling from "Windows" tech support and have an East Indian or Pakistani accent - I told them that they are a scam and that Windows is a product and not a company which they answer with the suggestion that they are part of Microsoft. This is my 3rd call with the same theme - but the first one with a caller ID showing.
I just got a call from this number. A guy with at accent said that he worked for a windows company. He said that my computer was sending them errors. He told me that if I did not remove the virus it would crash my computer. I could not hear him and asked again how he got this info. He told me to get on my computer. I told him I did not have windows and he asked me what I had. I thought he would know this if my computer were sending him messages. So then he hung up with phone. Calling the number back gets me a not in service message.
A indian guy called Jeff saying that I was being sued but if I want to stop that today I could deposit 1000 dolares to his company account. I don't have any legal issues... They treat and when I did say that I worked for the police department he hang up. I tried to call back and the message was that phone was not answering calls at that time. This number has called my phone numbers all day. How do I stop that?
