I see that you are still interested. My opinion is to use ebay protection program because i want to
take this opportunity to assure you that this deal is 100% legit but you must know that in
this way eBay will require you to send a ($4300) prior shipping and they will have to
verify me, the SUV and you as well before we can close this deal through their service.
Your money will be kept by eBay agent until you will receive the SUV and send them the
confirmation that you are satisfied with the product received. In case you don't want to
keep the SUV all you will have to do is to ask them for a refund and you will be totally
refunded in 2 days. Don't forget that for the shipping i paid all taxes.

This [***] tried to do the same thing with a 2003 4-runner and tried to sell it for $4300 (valued at about 3x or more!) Good thing I caught it right away....sounded sketchy right off the bat.
I received the following reply today, 03/26/09, about an inquiry I made:

It has only 93,256 miles so the SUV it's like new. Right now I'm studying at snow college in Ephraim , Utah.
If are you wondering how the shipping will be made, i have to tell you, that for the shipping i have an discount at Das Auto Shippers company. So you don't have to pay anything for the shipping. I am selling this SUV so cheap (only 4300$) because I need money very quick to pay my college fees. If you are a serious buyer please contact me as quick as possible.

I knew this was a scam the second I read that he is from out of town, blah, blah, blah, and about the shipping company. What a scumbag.
wow, am I glad I found this site. I was THISCLOSE to taking out a loan for a 2004 navigator i found listed. He had sent multiple pictures and requested eBay Protection program. ....wow. Thanks for this guys. Saved me $4400
This guy also tried to scam me, he has posting all over washington state in kennewick richland and pasco area. he also said his name was andrew mccoy, i have noticed he likes to use utah and ephraim and snow college alot so watch out for that, and dont ever send money through the mail, are you people that stupid, if you are then you deserve to get ripped off
