This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call list in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by hanging up when asked for an address. They claim to be a Google partner working with Google to update records; however, Google does not operate this way and makes it quite clear that anyone claiming to be in this kind of partnership with Google is a scam. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
First of all, I would like to reiterate what 'weif' said about providing financial information to any telemarketing solicitor - of course nobody should ever do that.
Actually I don't think there are any rule violations in this case. These companies are usually very careful! The National Do Not Call Registry only applies to consumers, not businesses; it appears that the company only calls businesses from the reviews/complaints that I've read. Furthermore, they seem to maintain a company-specific "do-not-call" (DNC) list of consumers who asked not to be called. Also the TCPA doesn't require solicitors to provide an address.. it requires that the solicitor provides the following: their name, the name of the person or entity on whose behalf the call is being made, and a telephone number OR address at which that person or entity may be contacted.
Also, try searching 'Atria Media' under google.com/partners and Find A Partner.. turns out they are a Google Partner!
Overall, I'm pretty sure it's not a scam and they aren't doing anything illegal!
